Charge, sync and prop up your phone with one clever accessory. This 240W USB-C to USB-C Fast Charging Cable combines high-power USB-C charging, data transfer and a foldable multi-angle phone stand in a practical 1.5 metre design.
Rated to support up to 240W USB Power Delivery with compatible equipment, the cable includes an E-Marker chip designed to help compatible chargers and devices identify supported high-power charging capabilities.
The detachable foldable bracket adds another useful feature, turning the cable into a convenient phone stand for hands-free viewing while charging.
This cable combines three useful functions in one setup: high-capacity USB-C charging, standard data transfer and a compact adjustable phone stand.
It is particularly handy for people who regularly charge USB-C phones, tablets or laptops and want a cable that can also provide hands-free phone viewing without carrying a separate stand.
We have personally tested this cable with several different USB-C power sources to see how it behaves under real-world conditions.
We also tested the cable with the foldable/right-angle stand adaptor attached. The Apple charger still negotiated at 60W, and the 100W car charger still negotiated at 100W.
This was particularly useful to confirm that the adaptor did not reduce the negotiated USB-PD power level during our testing.
Important: these figures represent the USB-PD power level negotiated between the charger, cable and connected device. They do not necessarily mean that the device continuously draws that full wattage throughout the entire charging session.
During our sustained MacBook charging test, we also noticed no unusual heat from the cable or connector housings.
The cable is rated to support up to 240W USB-C Power Delivery, but this does not mean every device will charge at 240W.
Actual charging performance depends on:
For example, when we used a 35W charger, the connection negotiated at 35W. With a 61W Apple charger, it negotiated at 60W. With a 100W USB-C car charger, it negotiated at 100W.
The cable provides the capacity for higher-power charging, but the charger and device ultimately determine the power level used.
The included foldable bracket turns the charging setup into a compact phone stand.
Fold out the two support legs and position a compatible USB-C phone for hands-free viewing while charging. The adjustable design is handy for:
We have tested the stand with an iPhone 15 Pro in several configurations:
The stand worked in all three of our tests.
Phone dimensions, USB-C port position and unusually bulky cases can still affect fit, so compatibility with every phone and case combination cannot be guaranteed.
The cable includes an E-Marker chip, which helps compatible USB-C equipment identify the cable's power capabilities during USB Power Delivery negotiation.
This becomes particularly important with higher-power USB-C charging, where the charger, cable and connected device need to agree on the supported charging profile before higher power levels are enabled.
In addition to charging, the cable supports compatible data transfer at up to 480Mbps.
This makes it suitable for everyday charging and standard data-sync tasks between compatible USB-C devices.
The cable combines metal connector housings with a durable 1.5 metre cable design, giving you useful reach for desks, bedside charging, vehicle use and travel.
The foldable stand also includes a wrist strap, making the adaptor easier to keep together with the cable when carried in a bag.
For best results, use a suitable USB-C power adaptor and follow the charging recommendations provided by the manufacturer of your phone, tablet or laptop.
The 240W figure is the cable's maximum supported rating, not a guaranteed charging speed. Lower-powered chargers and devices with lower charging limits will operate at the appropriate lower power level.
Modern compatible devices generally manage charging power automatically and request only the level they support.
Does this cable always charge at 240W?
No. The cable is rated to support up to 240W, but actual charging power depends on the charger, connected device and supported USB-PD profile.
What charging levels have you tested?
In our testing, we saw USB-PD negotiation at 35W with a 35W charger, 60W with an Apple 61W charger, 30W from a 30W car charger port and 100W from a 100W USB-C car charger port.
Did the phone stand adaptor reduce charging capability?
Not in our testing. We achieved the same 60W negotiated level with the Apple charger and the same 100W negotiated level with the 100W car charger both with and without the adaptor attached.
Does 100W negotiated mean the MacBook was constantly drawing 100W?
No. The negotiated figure represents the USB-PD power profile agreed between the charger, cable and connected device. Actual power draw can change during charging depending on battery level, temperature and device requirements.
Can it charge a MacBook?
Yes. It can charge compatible USB-C MacBooks when used with a suitable USB-C power adaptor.
Does it get hot?
During our sustained MacBook charging test, we did not notice unusual heat from the cable or connector housings.
What is an E-Marker chip?
An E-Marker chip helps compatible USB-C equipment identify the cable's supported power capabilities during USB Power Delivery negotiation.
Does it transfer data?
Yes. It supports compatible data transfer at up to 480Mbps.
Will the stand work with a phone case?
We tested it with an iPhone 15 Pro with no case, a standard case and a thicker Quad Lock case, and it worked with all three. Very bulky cases or different phone designs may affect fit.
How long is the cable?
The cable is approximately 1.5 metres long.
