Power more of your everyday devices with one versatile cable. This 4-in-1 Fast Charging Cable gives you four useful charging combinations in a single 1.2 metre braided lead, helping reduce the need to carry multiple cables.
Use it as:
The cable supports up to 65W USB-C charging and up to 27W Lightning charging with compatible equipment, making it suitable for a wide range of phones, tablets, laptops and other rechargeable devices.
Instead of carrying several different leads, this 4-in-1 design gives you more flexibility from a single cable.
It is especially handy for households, cars, offices and travel where a mix of USB-C and Lightning devices are regularly used.
The cable supports high-power charging, but it does not create the power itself.
Actual charging speed depends on:
For example, a 20W charger can only supply up to around 20W, even when connected to a cable rated for 65W.
Likewise, a 65W charger does not force 65W into a phone or tablet. Compatible devices only draw the amount of power they are designed to accept.
We personally tested this cable using a 61W Apple MacBook USB-C power adaptor with a USB-C to USB-C connection.
This is a real-world result from our own setup rather than a guaranteed output figure.
Charging performance may vary depending on your device, charger, battery level, temperature and usage.
For best results, use a suitable power adaptor and follow the charging recommendations provided by the manufacturer of your phone, tablet or laptop.
Modern devices generally manage charging power automatically and only draw the amount they are designed to accept. Many also include battery optimisation or charge-limit features to help manage long-term battery health.
Using a higher-rated cable does not mean your device will always charge at the cable’s maximum rating.
The braided exterior gives the cable a durable feel, while the reinforced connector housings are designed for regular plugging and unplugging.
At approximately 1.2 metres long, it is practical for:
The cable supports compatible data transmission as well as charging, making it useful for devices that support both functions through the selected connection.
Does this cable always charge at 65W?
No. The cable supports up to 65W through compatible USB-C charging, but actual charging speed depends on the power adaptor, connected device and charging protocol.
What happens if I use a 20W charger?
The charger can only supply up to around 20W, so the cable cannot increase that to 65W.
Can I use it with a 65W charger?
Yes, but the connected device must also support the relevant charging rate. The device will only draw the amount of power it is designed to accept.
How much power did you get in your own test?
Using a 61W Apple MacBook USB-C power adaptor, we observed approximately 43W via USB-C to USB-C.
Did the cable get hot during testing?
During our test, charging a MacBook from 35% to 91%, we did not notice any significant heat from the cable or connector housings.
What connections does the cable support?
USB-A to USB-C, USB-A to Lightning, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning.
Can it charge a MacBook?
Yes, it can support USB-C charging for compatible MacBooks when used with a suitable USB-C power adaptor.
Can it transfer data?
Yes, the cable supports compatible data transmission as well as charging.
Is fast charging always recommended?
Charging requirements vary between devices. For best long-term battery care, follow the charging recommendations provided by your device manufacturer and use any battery optimisation or charge-limit features available on your device.
