EZRA MagSafe Phone Grip & Stand

The EZRA HL153 Phone Grip combines a magnetic mounting ring, flexible finger strap and adjustable phone stand in one compact accessory.

Attach it directly to a compatible MagSafe phone or MagSafe-compatible case, then slide your fingers under the flexible strap for a more secure hold. The rotating metal ring also doubles as a stand for portrait or landscape viewing.

MagSafe & Non-MagSafe Compatibility

The EZRA grip attaches magnetically to compatible MagSafe phones and MagSafe-compatible cases.

If your phone or case does not have built-in MagSafe magnets, the bundle includes 2 adhesive metal adapter rings. Attach one of the rings to a compatible phone or case to create a magnetic mounting point for the grip.

Magnetic strength can vary depending on the phone, case thickness, case material and placement of the adapter ring.

The included 1.5m USB-C to USB-C cable is rated to support up to 240W USB Power Delivery when used with compatible equipment.

It includes an E-Marker chip to support high-power USB-C charging and also supports compatible data transfer at up to 480Mbps.

The cable also includes a foldable/right-angle adaptor that doubles as a compact phone stand, giving you another hands-free viewing option while charging.

240W Rated – What Does That Mean?

The cable supports up to 240W, but that does not mean every connected device will charge at 240W.

Actual charging performance depends on:

• The power adaptor being used
• The device being charged
• The USB Power Delivery profile supported by the charger and device
• Battery level and charging conditions

The 240W figure is the maximum supported cable rating. A lower-powered charger or a device with a lower charging limit will operate at the appropriate lower power level.

This is standard behaviour with high-power USB-C cables: the charger, cable and device negotiate the supported charging level rather than automatically delivering the cable’s maximum rating. High-power 240W USB-C cables are commonly sold with E-Marker support for this purpose.

Real-World Charging Tests

We have personally tested the cable with several different USB-C power sources.

• Apple 61W USB-C charger: 60W USB-PD negotiated
• UGREEN 35W charger: 35W USB-PD negotiated
• UGREEN 100W car charger port: 100W USB-PD negotiated
• UGREEN 30W car charger port: 30W USB-PD negotiated

We also tested the cable with the foldable/right-angle adaptor attached and still achieved the same 60W and 100W negotiated USB-PD levels during those respective tests.

Important: these figures represent the USB-PD power level negotiated between the charger, cable and connected device. They do not mean the device continuously draws that full wattage throughout the entire charging session.

During sustained MacBook charging, we also noticed no unusual heat from the cable or connector housings.

Cable Stand Tested with Different Cases

We have tested the cable’s foldable stand with an iPhone 15 Pro in several configurations:

• Without a case
• With a standard case
• With a thicker Quad Lock case

It worked in all three of our tests. Very bulky cases or different phone designs may still affect fit and viewing angle.

Does the cable always charge at 240W?
No. The cable is rated to support up to 240W, but actual charging power depends on the power adaptor, connected device and supported USB-PD profile.

What charging levels have you tested?
We have tested successful USB-PD negotiation at 30W, 35W, 60W and 100W using different power sources.

Did the foldable cable adaptor reduce the charging level?
Not in our testing. We achieved the same 60W negotiated level with the Apple charger and the same 100W negotiated level with the 100W car charger with the adaptor attached.

Can the cable charge a MacBook?
Yes. It can charge compatible USB-C MacBooks when used with a suitable USB-C power adaptor.

Does the cable transfer data?
Yes. It supports compatible data transfer at up to 480Mbps.

Can both products be used as phone stands?
